sharing rektor Unimus dengan UM Makassar
Rector of Unimus was sharing experience with the delegations of the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar

Semarang | January 16th, 2017 University of Muhammadiyah Semarang was visited by the delegations of the University of Muhammadiyah Makassarin order to establish a silaturahim (friendship) and a comparative study between both institutions. Especially for the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar, the moment was also used to learn about the governance of Unimus in accordance with the Health Analyst prior to its accreditation. The delegations were welcomed by the Rector of Unimus (Prof. Dr. H. Masrukhi, M.Pd.), the Vice Rectors I, II and II, the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences and also the Head of Health Analyst study program.

The event began with a presentation about the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar. In the presentation, it was explained that the University of Muhammadiyah Makassar was established in 2007. The presenting delegation hoped that they could follow Unimus’ example in order to improve the institution’s quality. For the development of Muhammadiyah higher education institutions in South Sulawesi, as many as 178 institutions, is quite slow in accordance with the very small number of health-related study programs.

The very essence of the meeting was to share information about the condition and development of both institutions in term of Health Analyst. For your record, in spite of having been just established in 2007 and accredited C, Health Analyst study program of the Makassar side has been very popular.

Meanwhile, the Rector of Unimus stated that in the process of accreditation, there are 2 (two) important aspects to take into account, such as formal aspect including form, assessment, and readiness of the institution’s accreditation team to make ready the required data. The second one is non-technical aspect, such as having a good relationship with the assessors, being polite and friendly also ready to do anything related to the accreditation.
