Rector of Unimus along with 45 public school headmasters and head of Education Office of West Sumatra Province

Kuala lumpur (February 14, 2018) | Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus) was just in charge with an International Mobility Program again, by accompanying and facilitating a contingent of 45 people, consisting of public senior high school headmasters representing all high school headmasters in West Sumatra Province. The international mobility was held in Malaysia on February 11-13, 2018.

The contingent was led directly by Prof. Dr. Masrukhi, M.Pd (Rector of Unimus) and Unimus Muhammad Yusuf, Ph.D. (Director of International Relations Office at Unimus). Assigned by the Governor of West Sumatra Province, the delegations were welcomed by Prof. Dato Bibi Florina Abdullah, the President of Lincoln University College Malaysia.

Rector of Unimus stated that the international mobility event was conducted to extend the international-scale network and facilitate the internationalization of such schools. “Each school administrator needs to internationalize the institution as it is important to have a good international network in order to develop the learning quality and because it is one of the school accreditation points. Unimus has collaborated with the schools to build the wider networks in the international sphere,” Prof. Dr. Masrukhi revealed. The internationalization agenda included some signings of MoU’s with Lincoln University College (LUC) and participation in short course program of teaching methodology class at the LUC. The following scheduled activity was to visit Indonesian Embassy aiming at looking for some opportunities to visit other higher education institutions in the country.
