9 Graduates of D3 Nursing Department who were accepted in Internship Program in Japan took picture with Head and Secretary of D3 Nursing Deparmtnet Unimus

Semarang ǀ Accepted to work immediately after graduation is such every students’ dreams. In addition, many people wants to work aboard. Since working aboard will give more experience, the salary is relatively high compare to working in domestic place. One of working destinations for every Indonesian students is Japan. Whereas, the most wanted job vacancy in Japan is nurse.

Japan, in the future, is considered as the most country that need nurse and caregiver staff from various countries. The rapid growth of elderly people in Japan is the reason why nurse and caregiver are significant thing that need to be fulfilled. Indonesia is a country who actively send nurse and caregiver to Japan. Moreover, Japan and Indonesia has signed the bilateral relationship in economic sector, where it accepts at least 1000 nurses to be trained. Fortunately, nurse and caregiver from Indonesia is nice, according to Japanese. Thus the demand of Indonesian nurses raises.

This opportunity also comes to Nursing Department graduates of Unimus. At least nine graduates passed the selection to do the internship program in Japan. “Nine graduates of D3 Nursing Department of Unimus that will follow upcoming graduation ceremony on October 2018 were accepted to do their internship program in Japan after joining several selection such as TPA and interview from Japanese users” stated the Head of D3 Nursing Department of Unimus, Ns. Chanif, MNS on Monday (24/9/2019). They are Radian Aditya Dewangga, Tema Daru Yanuar, Asri Apriliyaning Tyas, Retno Setianingrum, Titian Wulandari, Fina Tri Romdonah, Aulia Prastika Dewi, Janita Dwi Perwitasari and Fera Endah Purwandani. “It is like dreams come true, because at the very beginning studying here, I want to work aboard”, said Raidan Aditya Dewangga from Kendal.

Radian Aditya Dewangga one of graduates from D3 Nursing Department of Unimus from Kendal who passed the selection of internship program to Japan.“To work in Japan, the candidates are being selected in Indonesia through several procedures. Those who passed the selection will be sent to have Japanese course training for six months before going to Japan,” stated Chanif. After that, they are going to be nurse or caregiver in Japan for at least 3 years and facilitated with dormitory, salary of 17 million per month and pension in the end of the contract. “This chance can be realised because there is any MoU between Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences Unimus and Japanese Users.” Added Chanif.
