Beijing Tingkok | Unimus (30/10/2018). At least 25 groups of Principal Consultative Work (MKKS) from West Sumatra in collaboration with Head of Provincial Education Board organised “Education Collaboration Program” in Shanghai – Tianjin – Beijing. The agenda of collaboration was held in Tianjin Polytechnic University (TJPU).

After the signing MoU process, they discussed about any collaboration opportunities between Tianjin Polytechnic University and West Sumatra Provincial Board. High Schools’ Principal Consultative Work of West Sumatra was warmly welcomed by Prof Dr Chen Bowen, Vice President of TJPU. “It is such an honour for TJPU to be able to build collaboration with Educational Boards in Indonesia” said Prof Chen.

Head of Provincial Education Board of West Sumatra, Drs. Burshasman, M.M., said that “Tianjin Polytechnic University is amazing, that is why we can adopt several system from this university such as the technology of future urban area, future mass rapid transportation system, and textile technology as well.”. In addition, he expected that several students from West Sumatra would like to continue their study in TJPU.

This agenda would possibly happened because it was facilitated by International Relations Office of Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (IRO Unimus) as an effort to improve internationalisation program in Senior High Schools Institution. “We do hope that this program will enhance good relationship and networking between Higher Education Institution and Senior High School Institution in Indonesia.” Explained Muhammad Yusuf, Director of IRO Unimus.
