Department of Food Technology Unimus Signed MoU with Coolnova® Technology from Germany

Friday, 31 October 2014 was a historic day for Unimus particulary Department of Food Technology for being successful to have Coolnova Technology from Germany as partner in organizing workshop in Indonesia, including research and Coolnova application development in food storage industry for fish, meat and other agricultural products. Coolnova® is a modern device used for freezing and defrosting for food products such as meat, fish and the such. Being representatives who signed the agreement; Coolnova Technology was represented by Commissioner of the Company Prof. Trobjorn Trondsen, and Head of Study Programme of Food Technology Unimus Siti Aminah, STP, M.Si, witnessed by the Rector Prof. Dr. H. Djamaluddin Darwis, M.A.

Management of marine products in Indonesia is even still left behind Vietnam. In fact, as a country of archipelago that is surrounded by sea and ocean Indonesia has great natural resources, said an expert in fishery from Norwegian College Fishery Science the Arctic University of Norway, Prof. Torbjorn Trondsen, at Unimus on Thursday (23/10).
