Rektor Unimus menunjukkan SK hasil akreditasi FK Unimus dari LAM PT-KesSemarang │ June 6, 2017 Medical Education Program, in the Faculty of Medicine (Fakultas Kedokteran-FK) at Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus), has been accredited  “B” by the Indonesian Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in Health (Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Perguruan Tinggi Kesehatan/LAM PT-Kes). The accreditation status for the Undergraduate Degree in Medical Education is written in Decree no. 0255/LAM PTKes/Akr/Sar/V/2017, and for the Medical Profession Program, it is written in Decree no. 0256/LAM PTKes/Akr/Pro/V/2017. Both are valid from May 27, 2017 to May 27, 2022.

Gedung Fakultas Kedokteran UnimusProf. Dr. Masrukhi., M.Pd. as the Rector of Unimus in the press conference stated that the achievement the fruit of hard work of all parties such as the dean, lecturers, administrative staff as well as students. He asked to be grateful for this achievement while keeping improving the infrastructure, facilities, and human resources so that the predicate can be maintained. “The achievement also has impact on the increase of the new student enrollment quota in the Faculty of Medicine at Unimus. Now, with the predicate B, we can have 100 new students in the Faculty of Medicine. We hope that in time we are allowed to accept up to 150 new students” the Rector added. He revealed that a lot of efforts to improve the infrastructure and facilities are continuously being made, including the construction of seven-floor Faculty of Medicine’ building, located in the Integrated Campus of Unimus. “Our target is that by the end of 2018, the build will be ready to use. Within it, there will be various facilities, classrooms, and laboratories required for the education processes of both of the undergraduate and professional programs of Medicine” explained the Rector.  The achievement is hoped able to complete the motto of Unimus, to become A University for the excellence”.
