Sekda Propinsi Jawa Tengah (Dr. Ir. Sri Puryono) memberikan sambutanSemarang | (3/07/16) Big family of Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus) held a halal-bihalal pos-ramadhan gathering and recitation for all academicians at Unimus. The event was attended by the Central Java Province Regional Secretary, Muhammadiyah Provincial Executive Board of Central Java, Aisyiyah Provincial Executive Board of Central Java, Unimus Daily Advisory Board, Rector and Vice Rectors of Unimus, as well as senior leaders, lecturers and staffs at Unimus. Also attending the event was the Rector of Unimus in the period of 2011-2015 (Prof. Dr. Djamaluddin Darwis, M.A.).

Sri Puryono) in his greeting stated that Ramadhan was like a training center to prepare and color the following 11 months. Meanwhile, Unimus’ rector said that Ied Al-Fitr should become a moment for anybody to be purified, as well as together with others at work and in doing the duties.

The event began with taking Dhuhur prayer in congregation and Islamic lecture given by Drs. KH. Fahrur Rozi., M.Ag (Chairman of Muhammadiyah Regional Executive Board of Semarang City). Drs. KH. Fahrur Rozi., M.Ag. stated in the lecture that Eid Al-Fitr should be seen as a moment of reconciliation to improve our lives. .”Fasting in Ramadhan is a kind of worship that requires great honesty (no any specific signs that distinguish beteen those fasting and not fasting. It is different from other worships such as prayer, hajj, zakat and etc. that sometimes can be shown off to others” he stated. “If the honesty during Ramadhan can be applied in the next 11 months, there will not be any bad things done by human beings” he added. To close the lecture, he, who is also the Vice Dean III in the Faculty of Da’wah at Universitas Islam Negeri Walisongo, revealed several things one needs to pay attention in order to be excellent, such as: having a good intention, which is to be devoted to God, when beginning to do anything, doing anything as optimally as possible, and always grateful for what Allah has given.
