Semarang | Located in RSGM Hall (9/10/2018), Faculty of Dentistry Unimus held workshop on writing Students Creativity Program (PKM) for its students year of 2016, 2017, and 2018. This agenda was conducted to facilitate students in creating, drafting and writing qualified PKM Proposal. This workshop themed “FKG Unimus Goes To PIMNAS 32” , attended Eko Yulianto, Spd., M.Si. as the presenter.

 

 

Dean of FKG, drg. Budiono explained that this workshop was organized to prepare students to propose the upcoming PKM selection year 2019 as the annual program from Dikti. “Faculty of dentistry students of Unimus were expected to be proactive and serious to write and propose the selection of PKM. As we know that PKM is such prestigious event among higher education institutions in Indonesia, which it will be the indicator of higher education institution quality by the numbers of academic paper made by its students,” explained the dean of FKG.

 

Eko Yulianto, S.Pd., M.Si. briefly and clearly elaborated the tips and trick of writing PKM Proposal such as by combining several factors of communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity. In addition, Eko shared the method of passing PKM i.e. using S.C.A.M.P.E.R method which stands for Subtitute, Combine, Adapt, Modify, Put to other uses, Eliminate, Rearange. Eko Yulianto is one of Unimus lecturers that has successfully sent his students to join 31st PIMNAS 2018 in Yogyakarta (UNY). They are Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences students who join another 1.520 students from 136 Higher Education institutions around Indonesia from 30 August – 1 September 2018 that performed their PKM entitled “Pop-Up Chemistry for Kids Menumbuhkan Critical Thinking & Pro Lingkungan”.
