Semarang | Faculty of Dentistry (FKG) in collaboration with International Relationship Office (IRO) Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus) signed international relationship with one of the big universities from Malaysia, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (National University of Malaysia). This agenda was manifested into signing Letter of Intent (LoI) and International General Lecture in RSGM Hall on Monday (21/10/2018). This international relationship was also participated by 9 Higher Education Institutions from Indonesia such as UMS (Surakarta), UMY (Yogyakarta), Unissula (Semarang), Unjani (Cimahi), Universitas Mahasaraswati (Denpasar), UHT (Surabaya), Universitas Yarsi (Jakarta), UNUD (Denpasar) and UNSRI (Palembang).
Unimus invited three outstanding speakers from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia such as Prof. Tuti Ningseh Binti Mohd Dom, Dr. Alinda Binti Mahyuddin, and Dr. Yew Hsu Zenn. Prof. Tuti Ningseh explained about leadership, Dr. Alinda Binti Mahyuddin elaborated about Managing Child Dental Patients, and Dr. Yew Hsu Zenn discussed about Students Mobility. Almost all dentistry students joined this event.

From Unimus, Vice Rector III, Drs. Samsudi Rahardjo, M.M., M.T. welcomed and opened the event. He also stated that he was proud of FKG Unimus for conducting international networking events to improve its quality. “I believe that this international event is one of efforts done by FKG Unimus to develop its faculty. I’m really proud of this faculty since you are still young but you can prove that you are capable of doing real thing to gain internalisation.” He ended. In addition, the dean of FKG Unimus, drg. Budiono, M.Pd. stated that this international relationship is aimed at realising international networking to obtaining World Class University predicate.
