Unimus|(10/10/2018) Aries Susanti Rahayu, Indonesian speed relay climbing athlete who also student of S1 Management Department of Economics Faculty in Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang won gold medal for women’s speed number in The Belt and Road International Climbing Master Tournament 2018 in Huaian, China on Wednesday (10/10/2018). Aries Susanti Rahayu beat her opponent with the time record of 7,93 seconds. She finally beaten He Cuilian from China with time record of 8,86 seconds in final.
Ayu or well-known as Aries Susanti Rahayu said that this champion is devoted to all the victims of earthquake and tsunami in Central Sulawesi. Ayu expected that this victory can entertain all the victims in Palu and Donggala.
This victory will make Indonesia more famous in the world, especially in speed relay climbing sport. At the same time, Rector of Unimus, Prof. Dr. Masrukhi expressed his gratitude and pride for Ayu’s achievement. “Unimus and Muhammadiyah are proud of Ayu’s achievement. Unimus, in this case, fully support and factilitate Ayu in order to finish her study in Unimus.” Said the Rector. He also hopes that Ayu keeps on making achievement both in sport and academic.
