
Semarang, January 30th, 2017 As many as 139 students of the University of Muhammadiyah Semarang attended a dispatch ceremony of Student Community Service (KKN) in the Rectorate frontyard. The event was led by the Rector (Prof. Dr. H. Masrukhi, M.Pd.), the Vice Rectors I, II and III and the rest of Unimus’ leaders and academicians. FYI, the Student Community Service will be conducted in thirteen Villages in the Sub-district of Sumowono, Semarang Regency. The participants are students from 11 undergraduate programs, such as Statistics, Chemical Education, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, English Literature, English Education and Mathematics Education.
Prior to conducting the service, the students have attended a debriefing that has been finished in January 27th, 2017, aiming at giving the students know-how and experience once already in the location. In the debriefing, they were also given some directions to do the program well, obey local rules, and also be able to get messages and show good impressions to the local community at the end of the program, especially to keep the good name of Unimus.
