Semarang | In accordance to the vision of Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus) to be an excellent, distinctive, technology-based and international-minded university, surely this university needs to consider many aspects. One of which is to fix and improve education and teaching system. That is why, Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences in Unimus tries to realise the learning outcome (to be excellent, International-minded graduate) by building good relationship with several overseas Universities.

In bridging this issue, on Monday 3 September 2018, Round Table Meeting conducted. This agenda presents Prof. Eddy Yusuf, Ph.D as the President of Global Affair and Strategic Partnership in Management and Science University Malaysia at NRC Hall. Eddy examined that health sector is very challenging for him. “Technology gap is not really significant, but in health sector, gap between one country and another can be very distant.

Dean of FIKKES, Dr. Budi Santosa, M.Kes.Med. attended to give welcoming speech. He stated that Unimus is expected real collaboration with MSU. “Your presence in Unimus hopefully would bring positive impact to initiate relationship in research and education sector. We also believe that this collaboration can unite our visions about education.” He ended.

The example of collaboration in education sector such as providing scholarships, International Class Program, Join International Seminar, Staff and Student Mobility and 3+1 Program Unimus > MSU (3 years studying in Unimus and 1 year studying in MSU). It is also possible that both institution would make good and solid collaboration in any other sectors. Hopefully this academic relationship is able to increase their rank to be included in world class university.
