Semarang │UNIMUS ǀ On the last Sunday through Tuesday (November 13th-15th, 2016) an accreditation visitation was conducted by the Independent Accreditation agency for Indonesian Medical Higher Education (Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Pendidikan Tinggi Kesehatan Indonesia /LAM-PTKes) at the University of Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus) for the Undergraduate Degree in Public Health of the Faculty of Public Health (FKM). The event began with the portfolio presentation by the dean, continued with a presentation by the head of the study program. The event was also attended by all of the Unimus’ senior leaders and the heads of the related institutes, technical units and bureaus. On the other side, the assessing team consisted of Prof. Dr. drg. Andi Zulkifli Abdullah, M.K.es, and Dr. drh. Ririh Yudhastuti, M.Sc.
The next activity was data verification by the assessors in accordance with the conformity of the portfolio sent with the real data and physical evidences. Whole verifying the data, the assessors asked questions related to the data completeness to the heads of institutes, technical units, and bureaus. Having finished verifying the data, the assessors walk around the location in order to investigate infrastructure that Unimus had. They started from rooms and laboratories in the NRC building, and then moved to the new building of the faculty, integrated laboratory, and laboratory.
The last part of the visitation was an interview with the lecturers, students, alunmi, and stateholders. The questions were answered based on the real data either by the lecturers or others. It is hoped that the visitation will results in an higher and improved score for the FKM.
