Not only getting new experiences, those working overseas can find out more of their potencies compared to when working in their own country. A higher salary is another benefit. Of course, it is going to be a very great chance to get? One of graduates’ destination countries is Japan.

Given the opportunity, the Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences of Unimus has been starting some collaboration with some user from Japan. Dealing with that, Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences of Unimus has just established a new partnership with Nichini Corporation and Magdy Indonesia. The MoU signing ceremony has been held on July 12, 2018. The Japanese side was represented by Mr. Yamakura Shinya from Nichini Corporation and Unimus was represented by Dr. Tri Hartiti, the Vice Dean I of the Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences. Dr. Tri Hartiti after the ceremony told that the MoU signing ceremony was done to prepare the alumni of the study programs under Unimus, such as Nursing, Midwifery, Nutrition, Health Analyst, and Food Technology programs to work in Japan,” she explained.

Harry Kurniawan, representative to Magdy Indonesia revealed that “nowadays, there are a lot of work opportunities in Japan that graduates from health-based study programs can get. In Central Java, one of higher education institutions with quality graduates-health worker candidates in Unimus so that Magdy Indonesia collaborates with Unimus to prepare the alumni to be able to work in Japan. The alumni later will attend preparatory program including training on Japanese language and culture at Magdy Indonesia training center prior to taking an internship in Japan,” he stated. Meanwhile, Mr. Yamakura Shinya, representing one of the users where the graduates will take an internship, expressed his happiness for collaborating with Unimus. “I have seen the learning facilities in Unimus’ laboratories. It is very complete and modern that can create quality graduates that can compte with graduates from other countries,” he stated.
