Semarang | 23 November 2016 The Rector and Vice Rectors, as the members of the executive board of the University of Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus) handed the decree and certificate of accreditation over to the head of each of Unimus’ study programs, on Monday (November 21st, 2016) as the National Accreditation Agency for Higher Education (BAN-PT) has issued the accreditation decrees for 7 Unimus’ study programs, such as Chemical Education, Mathematics Education, Statistics, English Education, Accounting, Management and Mechanical Engineering. For the record, all of the study programs got B. In addition, the Rector also handed a decree on the result of the Higher Education Institution Accreditation (AIPT) to all of Unimus’ expert staff. Unimus has recently obtained a Higher Education Institution Accreditation (AIPT) rating of B (The rating sistem ranges from A, the highest, to C, the lowest).
Either the AIPT or Study Program Accreditation is an obligation to show that the university’s journey is on the right track in accordance with the standards enacted by the government that have to be obeyed by both state and private higher education institutions. All in all, such results (AIPT and Study Program Accreditation Ratings) are quite satisfying for the University, especially as they are the fruits of the hard-work and cooperation of all members of Unimus’ big family.
