Semarang │ May 14, 2017 University of Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus) held a charity program in cooperation with the Gymnastics Community of Tembalang Sub-district. The event was held to implement community service in empowering the community’s health. The participants of the program included lecturers and students of the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dentistry, and Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences (Study Programs of Nursing and Health Analyst).
Activities done in the charity program were free-of-charge medical services such as dental health counselling and medication. Taking place in Wanamukti Residence, Semarang, from 8-12 a.m., it was fully crowded. Approximately 150 people from Semarang City and the neighboring areas attended the event. Some of them who were interviewed stated that events like that are very useful for the society for they could get information about their health statuses in addition to getting free medical services and medications.
