1.	Upacara Pembukaan Signing MoU-MoA SMA/SMK/MA dengan Dongseo UniversityUNIMUS ǀ Semarang, May 29, 2017, Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus) held a signing ceremony of Memory of Understanding (MoU) and Memory of Action (MoA) between State and Private Senior High Schools / Vocational High Schools / Islamic High Schools and Dongseo University (DSU), Korea. The event was held in the Hall of Unimus, attended by 95 representatives of  State and Private Senior High Schools / Vocational High Schools / Islamic High Schools in Central Java, Special Region of Yogyakarta, and East Java. Penandatanganan MoU dan MoA was done by the school headmasters and president of DSU (Prof. Dr. Jekuk Chang), witnessed by the Rector of Unimus (Prof. Dr. Masrukhi, M.Pd.), the Dean of International Cooperation, DSU (Prof. Dr. Chan Chung), the Section Head of Curriculum, Central Java Province Education and Culture Office (Drs. Bambang Supriyono., M.Pd.), and the Chairman of the Elementary and Secondary Education Council at Muhammadiyah Provincial Executive Board of Central Java (Dr. Iwan Junaidi).

Presiden DSU, Rektor Unimus bersama Kepala Sekolah SMA/SMK Usai penandatanganan MoU-MoAOn the occasion, the Section Head of Curriculum read a letter from Reading a letter from the Head of the Central Java Province Education and Culture Office, saying that the Office Head expressed his appreciation for Unimus’ effort to initiate and facilitate the event as it could encourage the managers of senior high schools / vocational schools to be more and more motivated to develop the schools. He stated that Unimus could give the contribution to the educational advancement of the schools, the Unimus’ partners.  On the other hand, Prof. Dr. Jekuk Chang as the president of DSU delivered a presentation abut DSU, also stating that Unimus was a strategic partner of his university, bridging high schools in Java Island to improve cooperation with the institution in the future.

Meanwhile, Muhammad Yusuf, Ph.D., as the head of the International Relations Office and Cooperation at Unimus stated that Unimus always facilitated any intent for cooperation between Senior High Schools/Vocational Schools/Islamic High Schools and DSU because Unimus always wanted to improve its role in the global era. “The event was held also to implement the MoU between Unimus and DSU. The follow-up program of the event would be a Visiting Program to Busan, Korea for the schools’ headmasters” added Mr. Ph.D.
