Prof. Dr. Masrukhi, M.Pd., Rector of Unimus, handed-over a letter of assignment to Ns. Desi Ariyana Rahayu, M.Kep..

Semarang │(07/11/2017) A lecturer at Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus) will be involved in international staff mobillity program. The person is Ns. Desi Ariyana Rahayu, M.Kep., a lecturer in the profession program in Nursing, the Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences of Unimus. Along with 24 other lecturers from all over Indonesia, she has passed the selection for attending a short course on health science abroad, which will be held from November 13 to December 1, 2017 at Taiwan Medical University. For the record, the selection for the program was held and funded by the Directorate General of Directorate General of Science & Technology Resource and Higher Education at the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education.

Prof. Dr. Masrukhi, M.Pd, the Rector of Unimus, when dispatching and handing-over the letter assignment to the lecturer, expressed a appreciation on her achievement. “With the selection of Unimus’ lecturer to attend a short course on health science, it proves that one of Unimus’ efforts to implement the vision “having international insight” has been made,” he explained. Then, the Rector wished that there would be more and more lecturers from Unimus that could take the chances of receiving grants from the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education to study abroad, having international publications or short courses abroad. Muhammad Yusuf, Ph.D., the Director of the International Relations Office (IRO) at Unimus said that in 2017 9 academicians had been involved in 5 international activities. “The international activity will be attended by lecturers from the U.S.A., Italy, Japan, Taipei, and Malaysia. Those include some international seminars, short courses, and post-doctoral program,” he explained. “Dari kegiatan yang diikuti. In those international staff mobility programs, five lecturers could participate after receiving grants from the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education. It surely will give an extra point to Unimus in order to have global insight.” the Director of Unimus’ IRO revealed.
