Rector of Unimus was signing an MoU with University Kebangsaan Malaysia

Semarang │(August19, 2017) Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus) continues to expand the network by establishing cooperation with several domestic and overseas agencies. The cooperation has manifested by the signing of the Letter of Intent between Unimus and the Indonesian Occupational Medicine Specialist Association (PERDOKI), Indonesian Medical Hajj Association (PERDOKHI), Europe Occupational Health Association, King Saud University, Saudi Arabia, and University Kebangsaan Malaysia in accordance with the development of occupational health and medical sciences.

The signing ceremony was held amid the International Seminar of Occupational Health and Medical Sciences (ISOCMED) that took place at Patrajasa Hotel, Semarang. The letter was signed by Prof. Dr. Masrukhi.,M.Pd. as the Rector of Unimus, dr. Nusye E Zamziar, MS, SpOK) as the chairman of PERDOKHI, Dr.dr. Firdiansyah, Sp.KJ, MPH, as the representative of the University of Groningen, the Netherlands, Lailana Purvis., MD., MSc., OHS as the representative of the Europe Occupational Health Association, Prof. Sultan Ayoub., Meo., MBBS., PhD., Mmed., Ed FRCP as the representative of King Saud University, and Prof. Dr. Zaleha binti Abdullah Mahdy., PMP as the representative of Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. The Rector was accompanied by Prof. Dr. dr. Rifki Muslim., SpB SpU(K) as the Dean during the signing session.

Designed by the Faculty of Medicine and the International Relation Office at Unimus, in addition to supporting the Three Obligations, this partnership aimed at implementing the institution’s credo “Unimus towards an excellent quality” as well as one of Unimus’ visions, which is international-minded.
