
Semarang, February 27, 2017 Eleven students of the University of Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus) will participate in a student mobility (exchange) program at Chulalongkorn University, Thailand. The program will start on March 1, 2017. The students (4 from Study Program of Public Health, 4 from Study Program of Health Analyst and 3 from Study Program of Medical Education) received a letter of assignment from Rector of Unimus, Prof. Dr. H. Masrukhi, M.Pd., accompanied by director of International Relations Office (IRO) of Unimus, Muh. Yusuf, Ph.D., dean of Faculty of Public Health, Mifbakhudin, S.K.M., M.Kes. and head of Public Health study program, Dr. Sayono, S.K.M., M.Kes. (Epid.) in the campus on Monday (2/27/2017).
The rector in his speech stated that “the student mobility participated by 11 students are a short course regarding to each participant’s field. The short course will include sitting in in classes, laboratory classes, scientific discussions, Halal Centre visit, seminar, as well as campus field trip at Chulalongkhorn, one of the biggest higher education institutions either in Thailand or ASEAN.”
Dean of Faculty of Public Health, Mifbakhudin S.K.M., M.Kes., stated that the short course is the follow-up of an MoU between Unimus and Chulalongkorn University Thailand signed around 5 months ago. “It is hoped that the participation can extend their international insights as well as will be useful for them in the future.
