In front of Unimus’ students of Accounting and Management programs, the head of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry for Semarang City area stated that, “leadership and spirit of entrepreneurship was very important. By today, the number of entrepreneurs is less that 2%, meaning the chance to be an entrepreneur is still open. Good communication, good networking becomes very important to be mastered by those who want to be successful. To be successful, we also need to have the concept of “eye-catching”, to be different from others, honest, committed to the field and high confidence,” Arnas explained. “When starting a business, do not always think about money, Talking about capital, it is not only about money, it only ranks 10th among the most important points to succeed a business. A more important capital is ability to build relations, especially ability in communication and networking. Also, it is important to have an ability to present business ideas to others as well as to master how to get trust from others,”the young entrepreneur (also head of Baznas and of FKPI) added. “In order to develop the self, there are four keys of success that need to be recognized. They are ability to communicate and build network, ability to collaborate, creativity, and critical thinking towards problems by offering solutions. The other key is “eye catching”, to be different from what have existed so that people will get interested,” he concluded the lecture.
