Semarang │UNIMUS (04/09/2018) Hendrar Prihadi, S.E., M.M. a.k.a. Mas Hendi attended Unimus in sharing spirit and encouragement to all the freshmen of Unimus on Tuesday (04/09/2018). This general lecture was organised as the set of freshmen orientation period for academic year 2018/2019 at Eastern parking lot of Unimus.
Mas Hendi gave motivation to all freshmen of Unimus
He presented his general lecture themed “Mengelola Keberagaman, Memperteguh Kebangsaan” by asserting that as youth in this millennial era, freshmen and students are divided into four categories, smart but non-sensible people, sensible but less smart people, (unfortunately) less sensible and less smart people, and smart and sensible people. “There are many college students grab scholarship to study aboard, but they prefer to stay there. Instead of going home, they forget that this nation needs their help. This kind of people is categorised in smart but non-sensible students.” Explained Hendi. He again told all the freshmen of Unimus that, “Some people really do care about this nation, unfortunately they are not really smart by sharing hoax news without checking the fact. It will definitely raise worries among citizen. Those who less smart and sensible would like to consume drugs, perform illegal racing, and get drunk,” he elaborated. At that moment, mas Hendi would encourage and motivate freshmen of Unimus to be smart and sensible students. “I am sure that this is not easy, but I do believe that all of students here are smart. Now, it is your job to improve your sensibility and awareness of your environment, society, and this nation,” he ended.
Mayor of Semarang, Hendrar Prihadi and Freshmen of UnimusHe again explained that to become successful person, someone had to try hard, keep struggling and absolutely need long process. In this occasion, mas Hendi also conducted interactive dialogue with all freshmen. Various questions were raised such as how to awaken the nationality, how to be smart and sensible students, and how to be success entrepreneur. With no hesitation, mas Hendi answered all the questions outstandingly, clear and brief.
Rector of Unimus expected that through motivation given by the Mayor of Semarang would encouraged students to increase their nationalism without leaving value of Al Islam dan Kemuhammadiyahan.
