Semarang | The Central Java Provincial Government (Pemprov Jawa Tengah) reinforces various strategies to overcome and reduce poverty rate and to raise people poverty. Pemprov Jawa Tengah targets 7% for poverty rate in 2023. In fact, several policies conducted to accelerate target outcome. In order to realise it, Faculty of Economy (FE) Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus) in collaboration with MNC Trijaya FM Semarang in discussing Prime Topic themed “Strategi Pengentasan Kemiskinan di Jawa Tengah”, on Wednesday (13/12/2019).

The agenda was conducted in GKB Building of Unimus and presented 3 speakers such as Qualty Abdul Kadir Alkatiri (Vice Chairperson of Central Java House of Representative), Heru Setiadhie (Acting registrar of Central Java Regional Secretary-Plh Sekda), and Dr. Hardiwinoto, S.E., M.Si. (Vice Rector II of Unimus). Vice Rector II of Unimus attended the agenda and officially opened the agenda by delivering welcoming speech. He stated that the Talkshow was expected to reveal the regional government in attempting to reduce poverty rate. “This strategy is on the right track and comprehensively implemented so it is expected that this would decrease poverty rate both naturally and structurally“, he said. Dr. Hardiwinoto, S.E., M.Si. as the Dean of FE Unimus explained that campus is a place for synergising with government, citizen, and all components in Indonesia.
