Semarang | 400 Students of Unimus participated Community Service (KKN) program. Suratno, S.H., M.M., Expert Staff for Economic, Financial, and Development Affairs represented the Regent of Semarang, departed the participants of Unimus KKN PPN Program in “Pendopo” of Semarang Regency on Thursday, 30 January 2020. Rector of Unimus, Prof. Dr. Masrukhi, M.Pd directly handover the students and accompanied by the Head of Institution of Unimus Research and Community Service (LPPM), Dr. Dini Cahyandari, M.T. and Head of Community Service and KKN Division, Herlisa Anggraini, S.K.M., M.Si.Med. Previously, students participated release ceremony in Rectorate Hall of Unimus led by Vice Rector I, Dr. Budi Santosa, M.Si., Med.
KKN-PPM Program will be held for a month, started from 30 January to 1 March 2020 in Semarang Regency, especially in Pabelan and Tengaran Municipality. This program was participated by 12 undergraduate programs in Unimus, such as English Education (10), English Literature (7), Accounting (38), Management (62), Nutrition Science (62), Food Technology (33), Public Health (54), Chemistry Education (9), Mathematics Education (15), Statistics (28), Electronic Engineering (18) Mechanical Engineering (64). The participants were divided into 226 students in Pabelan and 174 students in Tengaran.
Suratno, S.H., M.M. warmly welcomed all Unimus students in KKN-PPM program in Pabelan dan Tengaran Municipality. He expected that the participants can give great contribution for Pabelan and Tengaran. “I hope all students can run all the program well in order to reach the objective of the program. For instance, students need to think, plan, and implement the program well in order to assist the development of the region, especially by optimising the potential resources in those areas.
