Semarang | (October 2, 2017) Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus) again inaugurated new structural officials of the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Dentistry for the period 2017-2020. The inauguration ceremony was led by Prof. Dr. Masrukhi, M.Pd., the Rector of Unimus, in front of the head of Unimus’ Daily Advisory Board (Widadi, S.H.), the vice rectors, and the senior leaders at Unimus.
Those inaugurated as the new officials were dr. Arief Tajally Adhiatma, MH.Kes (becoming the Vice Dean 1 of the Faculty of Medicine), drg. Retno Kusniati., M.Kes. (becoming the Vice Dean 1 of the Faculty of Dentistry), Dr. drg. Risyandi Anwar., Sp.KGA (becoming the Vice Dean 2 of the Faculty of Dentistry), drg. Hayyu Failasufa (becoming the head of the Undergraduate Program in Dentistry), drg. Ayu Kristin Rakhmawati (becoming the head of the Professional Program in Dentistry), drg. Bawa Adiwinarno, M.Med.Ed. (becoming the head of the Medical Education (MEDU) in the Faculty of Dentistry), and drg. Tegar Permadi Dimas Prakoso (becoming the Unit Head of the Islamic Family Dentistry).
The rector in his greeting stated that the Faculty of Medicine and the Faculty of Dentistry needed to step forward strongly and clearly and be solid every day. “Solid togetherness in every unit is needed as an important social capital, especially Unimus as an institution that is still growing,” the rector explained. “Let’s work at Unimus to share about Islam and stand up for it through professionalism in our own fields,” the rector advised the new officials. Head of the Daily Advisory Board in his speech also emphasized that the newly given positions were not things to boast but to be fields of worship to God that will bring goodness and improvement for Unimus. “Thayyibah sentence also should become the foundation for every activity and behavior done by the academicians at Unimus, in order to make Unimus great,” he added.
