Semarang | (10/04/2019) Globalization Era demanded every universities to be able to develop with high acceleration. The tendency of rapid change should be anticipated immediately by every Higher Education Institution in Indonesia including Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus) by conducting several strategic repairing procedures in realizing progressive Higher education with competitive spirit and imbued by Islamic struggle.
Unimus held lecturer development themed realising excelent university in globalization era entitled “Menuju Universitas Unggul di Era Global” in FK Hall of Unimus that presented Prof. Dr. H. Edy Suandi Hamid, M. Ec as the Vice Chairman of Higher Education, Research, and Development Councel of PP Muhammadiyah. This event was attended by hundreds of lecturers in Unimus and moderated by Dr. Hardi Winoto, S.E., M.Si (Dean of FE Unimus).
Rector of Unimus, Prof. Dr. Masrukhi, M.Pd. stated that Prof. Dr. H. Edy Suandi Hamid, M. Ec is inspiring figure that able to motivate him to achieve his success. “Prof. Edy Hamid was the first person who believe that Unimus should go ahead and spread its wings. Thanks to Allah, every elements in Unimus are supporting each other to achieve the AIPT re-accreditation for Grade A.
