Semarang │ UNIMUS │ May 8, 2017 Today the Medical Education Program at the University of Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus) received a visit from the Indonesian Accreditation Agency for Higher Education in Health (IAAHEH) which in Bahasa Indonesia is called LAM-PTKes (Lembaga Akreditasi Mandiri Perguruan Tinggi Kesehatan). The visit, which will be held for 3 days from today to Wednesday to Wednesday (May 8-10, 2017) is a part of the study program’s re-accreditation agenda.
Representing IAAHEH on this occasion are three assessors such as Dr. dr. Budi Utomo (Unair)., Dr. rer.nat. Asmarinah, M.Si (UI) and dr. Riyani Wikaningrum, M.M., M.Sc. (Universitas Yarsi). They were received in the university rectorate by Prof. Dr. Masrukhi, M.Pd. (Rector), Dr. Sri Darmawati, M.Si. (Vice Rector I), Dr. Sri Rejeki, M.Kep., Sp.Mat. (Vice Rector II) and all of the senior leaders in charge of the faculties and study programs at Unimus prior to a field assessment.
The field assessment aims at clarifiying the data written in the form that has been submitted as the physical evidence of the study program. The visitation agenda began with a faculty presentation by Dean of the Faculty of Medicine (Prof. Dr. Rifky Muslim., Sp.B., Sp.U.) and a study program profile presentation by Head of the Study Program (dr. M. Riza Setiawan). The following activity will be physical evidence, facilities and infrastructure checks, including to check the home-based hospital at Tugurejo Semarang Regional General Hospital and Mijen Community Health Center, where the students used to apprentice.
Unimus Medical Education Program with the vision “to become an excellent study program in medical education with its approach on family and occupational medicine. which is Islamic and international minded in 2034” is expected to get an optimal result, following other study programs at Unimus that have been accredited A and B. Achievement in the re-accreditation will complete the motto of the institution, to become “A University for the Excellence”.
