Prof. Dr. Masrukhi, M.Pd. (Rector of Unimus) is showing the list of Unimus’ Student Creativity Program (PKM) proposal titles  that get grants from the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education.

Semarang │(April 6, 2018) 23 proposals of Student Creativity Program (Program Kreativitas Mahasiswa/PKM) by students at Universitas Muhamadiyah Semarang (Unimus) are accepted by the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education (Kemenristekdikti) and thus the programs will be funded by the Ministry. It becomes an institutional achievement that puts Unimus in the top 5 Student Creativity Program grant recipients among all other private higher education institutions throughout Indonesia (3.128 institutions). Meanwhile, in comparison to all other Muhammadiyah higher education institutions in the country, Unimus is the 4th best. And, in the area of the Coordination of Private Higher Education Institutions of Central Java Area (Kopertis Jawa Tengah), Unimus is the 3rd best.

We cannot deny that one of the indicators of higher education institution ranking of is the achievement in Student Creativity Program. The grants received by the 23 teams of students prove that Unimus always supports the students and the institution to get high achievements. The funded proposals consist of 7 proposals of Student Creativity Program of Entrepreneurship (PKM-Kewirausahaan), 1 proposal of Student Creativity Program of Innovative Creation (PKM-Karsa Cipta), 2 proposals of Student Creativity Program of Community Service (PKM-Pengabdian kepada Masyarakat), 10 proposals of Student Creativity Program of Exact Research (PKM-Penelitian Eksakta), and 3 proposals of Social Sciences and Humanities Research (PKM-Penelitian Sosial Humaniora).

Prof. Dr. Masrukhi, M.Pd., the Rector of Unimus, expressed his pride and gratitude towards the achievement in Student Creativity Program grant that has significantly increased from the previous year’s achievement. “This achievement is the fruit of the good coordination between the leaders of the University, the study programs, and the students. The topics of sciences at Unimus are dominated by health topics that are interesting to be taken into scientific works or researches,” he revealed. “I hope that all students from all of the faculties can participate in the program so that we can create new innovations that will make Unimus proud,” he added. From now on, let’s close ranks and build a synergy on all lines so that in the future, we can higher achievements, not only in terms of quality but also quality, especially to make all proposals of Student Creativity Program get accepted and finally become the winners in the National Scientific Week (Pekan Ilmiah Nasional/PIMNAS),” he concluded.
