
Semarang, February 6th, 2017 University of Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus) is to send a lecturer abroad (again) to take a postgraduate program. It’s Mr. Rubijanto Juni Pribadi, S.T, M.T. right now, who is going to study at the National Taipei University of Technology Taiwan. He gets a scholarship, following an MoU signing between Unimus and the International Graduate Program of Mechanical and Electrical Engineering (CMEE). This program is also one of the implementations of Unimus’ plans of enhancing the quality of the human resource in the educational field, especially in improving the quality of lecturers.
M.Yusuf, S.STPi, M.Si, Ph.D., as the Director of Unimus’ International Relations Office explained that in 2016 Unimus had sent 3 lecturers abroad to take postgraduate programs, and in 2017, there will be another lecturer, from the Faculty of Engineering, who will do the same thing. On the other side, the Vice Rector I (Dr. Sri Darmawati, M.Si.) stated that the departure of Mr. Rubijanto should be able to inspire other lecturers. She also persuaded Unimus’ lecturers to also study abroad.
