Semarang │Unimus (23/04/2018) Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus) progresivelly trigger its lecturers to compete and gain various funding research and community services provided. Such achievement in obtaining research and community service grant 2019 is quite satisfactory. In 2019, Unimus received IDR 5 billion for funding research and community service. Vice Rector I Unimus, Dr. Sri Darmawati, M.Si in workshop entitled “Penulisan dan Klinik Artikel Ilmiah untuk Jurnal Internasional” organized by Institute of of Research and Community Service (LPPM) Universitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus) in Medicine Building of Unimus on Tuesday (23/04/2019). This event were participated by 40 lecturers receiving fund from Ministry of Research, Technology and Higher Education. In this year, Dr. Sri Darmwati stated that there are 26 research proposal received 5.5 billion from Kemenristekdikti. “It is decrease in the quantity but the amount of research funding is relatively increased.” she explained.
Head of LPPM Unimus, Dr. Dini Cahyandari, MT added that in 2018 Unimus received IDR 4,21 Billion form Kemenristekdikti, while in 2019 Unimus received IDR 5,81 Billion consisting of IDR 5,25 billion from 25 reseach proposals, IDR 267 million from 6 community service proposals, and IDR 300 million from Insinas proposal. “This achievement in 2019 increased 38,33% from 2017. This number is excluded from funding from local government, Non Goverment Organization and any other” said Dr. Dini. “Unimus as the Middle Cluster University attempts to increase funding research and community service through organizing several workshop related to writing research and community service proposals featuring national reviewer,” she ended.

“This achievement becomes one of the indicators that Unimus is developing its academic atmosphere” explained Vice Rector I. “Besides, Unimus also tries to increase the amount of lecturers wrtiting in international reputed journals. Today, we invited international reviewer from Unmuha (Universitas Muhammadiyah Aceh) Prof. Asnawi, Ph.D as the effort to develop Unimus reputation in publication” said Dr. Sri Darmawati.
