SEMARANG (KRjogja.com)- Prof. Dr. H. Masrukhi, M.Pd., Rector of the University of Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus) and Prof. Nan Chen Hsieh, Ph.D., President of National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences (NTUNHS), signed an MoU and MoA at Campus 1, Unimus, on Wednesday (12/21/2016). The event was witnessed by Prof. H. Lincolin Arsyad, Ph.D., Head of the Higher Education Council, Research and Development of Persyarikatan Muhammadiyah, and Muhammad Sayuti, M.Pd., M.Ed., Ph.D, the secretary of the council.
In addition, NTUNHS also signed agreements with 22 other higher education institutions under Peryarikatan Muhammadiyah which have been excellent in the fields of Midwifery and Nursing as well as having Midwifery and Nursing programs.
“The signing of agreement beween Unimus and NTUNHS Taiwan will be followed up with collaborations in researches, workshops, international seminars, student and lecturer exchanges, double and joint degree initiations in the levels of postgraduate and doctoral degrees in Midwifery and Nursing as well as any other forms of cooperation.” stated the Rector.
Prof. Lincoln Arsyad Ph.D. was happy with the signed agreements. NTUNHS is well-known in these fields so it is hoped that all higher education institutions under Muhammadiyah (PTM) can get much knowledge from the Taiwan’s college. He hoped that PTMs could get the benefit from the occasion.
