MoU signing between Unimus and MSU Malaysia

Shah Alam Malaysia | Wednesday, April 26, 2018, Delegation of Unimus and 25 headmasters of senior high schools and vocational high schools, from various areas in Central Java, West Java, West Sumatra, and Central Sulawesi Provinces arrived at Management and Science University (MSU) in Malaysia located in Bandar Shah Alam.

The delegates were accepted directly by the university’s president, Professor Tan Sri Dato’ Wira DR. Mohd Shukri AB Yajid. He was accompanied by several senior leaders consisting of the Vice President and managers. As the key person of the MSU side for partnership affairs was Eddy Yusuf, the Vice President for Global Affair Professor.

The event was facilitated by the International Relations Office (IRO) of Unimus in collaboration with the Council of Primary and Secondary Education of Muhammadiyah Provincial Executive Board of Central Java. “We have a global orientation to improve our reputation to become more excellent. MSU offers quality education,” the president of the MSU stated. On the occasion, both Unimus and the MSU signed an MoU. There was also an official report of partnership with the schools from Indonesia. Sulastri, M.Pd. (Headmaster of Muhammadiyah Vocational High School of Sayung), as one of the delegates, revealed that “schools need international collaborations. Support from Unimus to senior high schools and vocational high schools for the internationalisation program has facilitated schools to build a network with the ‘outside world’”. Sulastri also expressed her expectation to see the continuity of this program.
