Semarang | Talking about a work visit, there are surely a lot of benefit that can be got. One of them is the improvement of quality and knowledge of some organization / educational institution. It is what motivated 4 Senior High School Bandung (SMA Negeri 4 Bandung) to visit Univesitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus) on Saturday, February 18, 2018. 100 partipants from the school consisting of teachers and administrative staff members were welcomed by Dr. Sri Darmawati, M.Si. (Vice Rector I of Unimus).
In the welcome speech, Dr. Sri Darmawati expressed his gratitude towards the school headmaster for choosing Univesitas Muhammadiyah Semarang (Unimus) as one of the destinations of the work visit, in order to get knowledge and insights about education in a university. On the other hand, Dr. Andang Segara, M.Pd., the school headmaster, said thank you to Unimus for having been warmly welcomed. “This is our first to the campus of Unimus and the response has been really nice. In the visit, we have also got some information about Unimus that we can share with our students later. We, as educators, try to facilitate those who want to join Unimus,” he stated.
A series of activities were done by the participants, starting from the greeting of the Vice Rector I, Unimus’ profile presentation by Ns. Yunie Armiyati, SP.KMB. (Head of Public Relations at Unimus), Unimus profile video screening and souvenir handover from Unimus to school and vice versa.
